Even if you do detect that fraud has been committed, how would you follow up with Google or Yahoo to tell them to give your credit for that? They will use their own judgment and not listen to you. It is very difficult to track really.

This is a great article- many thanks. I started to read it because this morning, through statcounter, I was able to notice a large number of people coming from googleads to our site which is very unusual.

There were two other strange things:

First, they weren't coming from the countries you mentioned above but Italy, France and Spain.

Secondly, we don't have any googe ads!! We did have but last year google removed them without a clear explanation and we were never able to contact anyone there for help - we had certainly not misused the system. Since then we have not had any ads. I have clicked back onto the sites which the visitors seem to have come from (all legitimate sites with similar business as ours) and there are no ads for us there!

Could anyone explain what the situation could be?!

There's an IP of
66.27.64.6 that's been leaving hateful comments on my blog. How do I get this reported or find out who the person is?

You can see lot of people selling e-books regarding making quick bucks doing some dodgy stuff with clicks. All these must be bringing revenue down for genuine hard-working internet community.

I feel bad about the negative feedback on ad publishers. A feeling is being creating about specific behaviour & integrity of ad publishers in general I totally NOT recognize myself in.
