We are always working to improve the StatCounter service we offer to our members. Thanks to the fantastic work done by our engineers over the last year we are thrilled to be able to make the following announcement.
All our upgrade plans have been multiplied by a factor of 10 at no extra cost.
Here is how the plans have changed.

- 10,000 increased to 100,000
- 25,000 increased to 250,000
- 50,000 increased to 500,000
- 100,000 increased to 1,000,000
- 200,000 increased to 2,000,000
- 500,000 increased to 5,000,000
- 1,000,000 increased to 10,000,000
These log size increases are available now to all new and existing upgraded customers. To assign the additional log space to your project simply log in to your StatCounter account. Click “Adjust Log” and assign the new log space.
We have also introduced two brand new plans.
- 50,000,000 log quota priced at $249 a month.
- 100,000,000 log quota priced at $399 a month.

Statcounter is the best for me but is there any chance for live visitor system
If you really, really need to see the latest visitors as close to live as can be (live only means hits recorded within the last X minutes), just load up the Recent Pageviews report and eyeball the hits logged over the last X minutes. There, you have it. If you have a serious website you don’t want to show what and whom you are tracking. Trust me on that, it’s very tacky and will cause you to perhaps lose visitors.
We do provide live visitor stats. All of our stats are in real-time. You just have to hit refresh. If you prefer not to hit refresh you can try out our automatically refreshing stats if you go to statcounter.com/p[YOUR PROJECT ID HERE]/dashboard/
admin, i think it will be more useful like in google analytics there is real time option, there you can see how many visitors are currently on the site
the integration of statcounter wp plugin is a bit difficult
How so? The plugin is available directly from the WordPress repository and gets installed in a jiffy from your WordPress dashboard. There’s a single step of configuring it to add the project number and security token given to you by Statcounter.
I had not said about installing, I mean it’s annoying and lengthy process to get project no. and token no. from statcounter, at least for a novice….
however statcounter can make the plugin like after installing enter statcounter login credentials and just choose the project you want to track.
wouldn’t that be more simple and easy
??? – It takes a full 17 seconds to add the WP Plugin [ I timed it ] – Using login credentials would be impossible, I have ONE login credential for +6o sites..
Personally I think the StatCounter WP Plugin is excellent and VERY easy to install
Thanks for the upgrade, but I’ve a question regarding the weekly or monthly Stats report. There is always a discrepancy between your report (o visit, 0 page loads….) and what it is displayed at the bottom of the first page of the website. For instance, today (11/8/15 ) it indicates that there were 812 210 visitors since july 14 2008!!
Could you let me know why these visitors never appeared in your statistics. I plan to publish this website (an e-book of a french and english versions). Therefore, I would like you to tell me the reason (s) of such a discordance . If it can be corrected it will give more weight to the publication.

Why don’t you drop by the forum and ask your question there and provide some details so that we may see if there’s any issue other than a misunderstanding of what the various statistics represent.
I’ve been using for years to StatCounter. I don’t need another another counter.
Would love to use this but ever since I redesigned my website in Rapidweaver, StatCounter does not work unfortunately. I have emailed Rapidweaver as well as StatCounter and have not gotten any correct answers as to how to fix this bug. It simply does not work.
Have been forced to use GoSquared and Google Analytics and they both are no where near StatCounter as far as what I need out of analysis. Maybe StatCounter can look into this in order to keep me (and I’m sure others) as a customer.

That’s FANTASTIC! Thank you so much for all the hard work that led to this change. 10x is INCREDIBLE for those of us who are happy to pay for the service.
I’ve been using a free version of StatCounter for ten years now, and have normally been quite happy with it. These upgrades sound impressive, but I’d be happy if I could just merely VISIT the site lately. Nine out of ten times I get a white screen with a message that says “Not found (error to origin)”.
Please try using a different browser. Chrome is best.
Clean up your computer’s cache. CCleaner is excellent to get rid of all accumulated garbage.
Reboot occasionally.
I am using Chrome on my Mac and this problem persists. In ten years this has never happened before when using the site.

We’d love to give you everything for free but we have to
a) Maintain a service that can cover its costs
b) Not engage in any shady business practises – like installing third party advertisers in our tracking code.

I agree with Admin – Statcounter.com is providing fare service since begining I am using it since long time. The compnay always need to have operating expensis. So if some one commercially uses the services he must pay for this and these charges are very normal.

Actually i am a normal client in statcounter , Why i want to Upgrade my account ? . Everything is normal to me in the free account . Please explain me a reason to buy a upgrade account .
You get free lifetime summary stats with every StatCounter project, however the detailed stats are limited to the latest 500 page views to your site.
If you’d like to increase this to the last 50,000 page views you can upgrade with us for just $5 a month.

We own our family of web sites have Cpanel for each of them, which give by far betters details including search words. We like statcounter for a quick look couple of times,day while doesn’t give an accurate visitor counter as Cpanel does, it’s good for a quick look on what pages people are visiting and we can makes changes on the fly. We only check one or two pages of the log for each site, which is plenty for us. If you don’t own your web site and it was made using one of those freebie websites or on blogspot, then you might need bigger log file from statcounter. But have log that’s 50,000,000 pages way to much, you would never be able to look at it in a month of Sundays.
why pay 45$/month for cpanel if statcounter is free for limited users ? Weird . Your letter looks like ***spam***
