    3. LOVE Statcounter!! I refer you all to everyone.

What stats do you look at most often and why?

I look at visitor path and page view mostly. It helps me see what the customer is looking for and how they found my site.

How often do you check your stats?

I tend to agree with everyone else, statcounter is sooo addicting! I do check hourly; sometimes even more often than that. By the way; chatting on the phone is certainly not a problem for me 🙂

Ok its a small thing but I had to mention it. Typo in your posting

    6. I am a work-at-home mom with an online retail site, Good for the Kids http://www.goodforthekids.com, offering products for children and women. I focus on products that are unique and hard-to-find. Together with designers, I have developed my site to cater to the needs of my customers whom are primarily mothers to young children.
StatCounter has helped me tremendously in the aspect of understanding my customers. As soon as I find that someone has posted in a blog or made a comment somewhere online from the information provided in StatCounter, I can go immediately and learn about the potential customers. Many times, I offer coupon codes to the customers on the discussion board or blog to entice them to complete their orders while they are searching for the items they are buying.
I have also used StatCounter to understand problems with my site and quickly fix the issues to gain more satisfied customers. I check the StatCounter site, specifically the Vistor Path section, numerous times a day.
I’d love to help you out in any way you need. Please contact me if I can be of assistance.

    7. I use the StatCounters to keep track of how may folks have looked at our puppy pictures when we have puppies up for sale. It really helps us gauge how effective the site has been, Its been very effective. I love the tie-in with Google maps. I use Firefox with the auto-reloader plug-in and keep it up in different tabs all the time to keep up to the minute whats happening..
I look at the visitor path and usually , recent page loads, and have them all set to auto-reload every minute. then, once in a while I look at more detailed info. Thanks for a great service !!!! If you want to call and interview me, would love to talk to you..

    8. I am a website designer and have used StatCounter for the past few years. I place a Statcounter on EVERY website that I design.

By using Statcounter each customer can evaluate which advertising method may be working better than others, as well as where their primary audience is coming from, etc. I also use it to evaluate how well certain content may be doing and perhaps what may need to be tweaked.

The Statcounter quite honestly is invaluable and I have not looked at another provider of this service since I came across you!

I always recommend Statcounter to others who inquire of ways to discover how much traffic their site may be receiving.

I have several “main” clients that I perform SEO work for and I normally at least check their stats on a daily basis. This is in addition to the clients also checking their own stats for themselves. 🙂

      Again, great service!

      Ashley

    9. I too love Statcounter. I check stats hourly to see where my visitors are coming from and what products my customers are most interested in. I personalize dog and cat collars at www.alphapetcollars.com and check “recent visitor activity” as well as “visitors path” most often.

    10. I think of my little shop, www.shopdrops.com as that enchanting neighborhood shop on the web. It is a home-made, home-cooked, home-based business with all the delightful flavors of a small shop often found in street corners of anybody’s neighborhood. Shopdrops.Com offers quality goods for the family, home, garden and for the very important person who does almost all the shopping at home.

StatCounter has helped a lot in improving my home-business. Statcounter gives me real time statistics on who is visiting, where a visitor is coming from, the length of time spent on the site, the pages visited and the search engine who is best in referrals.

I love the ‘Recent Visitor Activity’ and the Recent Keyword Activity. Why? The former shows what my visitors are up to – what particular products they looked at, where they are located, which page they landed on and which page they exited from. The latter tells me which search words are popularly used and which search engine is used the most.

I value the stats from statcounter. The stats I get motivate me to improve my site building skills, challenge me to better my position in the SERPS and simply open my eyes to my weaknesses and flaws as a site-builder-owner.

I love Statcounter. It is the loyal companion to my site. Truth is, it’s the first thing I do in the morning, last thing I do at night and every hour in between! And I am talking about both (Statcounter and my little shop)!

    11. I run a number of “useful information” pages on my professional site. My Skype page (http://www.HL7.com.au/Skype.htm) is very popular.

      * How using StatCounter has helped improve my business:
StatCounter gives me information on my site visually summarized but also I can drill down to all the technical detail. The information is MUCH more useful than Google Analytics…

      * What stats do you look at most often and why?
      – The summaries – then “Recent Pageload Activity” and “Recent Keyword Activity”.

      * How do the stats help you?
      – They show me how many visitors, where they are coming from and what they were asking when they found my site.

      * How often do you check your stats?
      – I always review the e-mailed weekly summary of all my sites. When I am making critical changes, I check the detail hourly…

      * What could make StatCounter even better?
Nothing really – keep the basic mode free and make some visual tweaks to the displays (I LOVE pie charts 🙂

      Klaus

    12. * How using StatCounter has helped improve your business, specifically:
All of our business right now comes from Search Engine placement. Statcounter helps us decide which keywords are working or not on our sites: http://www.nubra.net and http://www.nu-bra.com to name a few.

      * What stats do you look at most often and why?
I like the recent keywords activities, the “recent came from” features. It tells me if we are getting hits on Ads from other sites.

      * How do the stats help you?
They tell me where hits are coming from, if we are on target with the keywords. By comparing hits from one store site to the other, it helps us tweak the keywords missing on one or the other store.

      * How often do you check your stats?
At least twice a day, or minimum of once a week just to see how much traffic against sales coming in to our store.

      Thanks a million!
      Diana Limjoco Pollard

    13. TheBestStoreDeals.com is a “one stop shop” for pretty much anything you could need to purchase…from vacations to groceries. We try to find the best prices out there for the consumer.

What stats do you look at most often and why?

Visitor Paths…I check it everyday…I can see if people did a search to find me…and where in the search engines my site came up in the searches….I love that!

How do the stats help you? I can see what people are looking for and gear more towards those items..

How often do you check your stats? Daily…sometimes more than once, twice, five times :o)

      Thank you!

      Tracy

    14. StatCounter Team:

      Folks,

It’s really great to hear how StatCounter is helping you all to grow and improve your online businesses. That is the very reason why StatCounter was set up in the first place! 😉

Even though we’ll only be able to put one or two people forward for this interview, we would very much like to include some of your comments in our feedback section. We might get in touch with you about this in the next few weeks.

      Thanks!

    15. http://www.qualibuy.com – is a website that offers quality cheap silver jewelry and brand name colognes/perfumes/aftershaves for men and women at low discounted price. Our customers can shop for genuine quality and save anywhere between 10% to over 40% off retail price.

      * How using StatCounter has helped improve your business, specifically:
      – I love statcounter because the interface is awesome and it delivers to-the-point information that I care about. I also have an account with Google Analytic but I hardly check it because statcounter gives me everything I need.

      * What stats do you look at most often and why?
      – I like the “recent keywords activities”, the “recent pageload”, “browser” and “systems stats”

      * How do the stats help you?
      – They together will tell me how many hits we get, where our customers are coming from, how did they find us, and how our website display on their systems.

      * How often do you check your stats?
      – More than 5 times a day.

    16. I absolutely love statcounter and refer it to many people.

www.fleurdelisfashions.com is an online retail store offering fleur de lis jewelry, handbags, accessories, and apparel at affordable prices.

      * What stats do you look at most often and why?

I look at the visitor path stats the most because it allows me to figure out how the user found our site. It can also tell me if certain advertising dollars have been used effectively. The other stat I use most frequently is recent keyword activity. This tells me exact key words or key word phrases used to find our site.

      * How do the stats help you?

The stats help me to know if I am using correct keywords for seo and organic or paid hits I am getting from the search engines.

      * How often do you check your stats?

Several times a day, sometimes it’s addictive!

      Thanks,
      Rene

    17. Our website has alot of free gardening information. I needed a way to check how many vistitors actually were looking for this information.
      http://www.guzmansgreenhouse.com

Ahhh….Statcounter.com When I first started our website there were alot of pay and free statistical programs. But when I saw what statcounter could do for us I stopped looking.

It told me where my vistitors were coming from, what city, state and country. Which webpages got the most hits, how long they stayed when the re-visited and much more…and to top it off it is FREE.

I check my stats several times a day…sometimes I think statcounter hosting server will ban me because of “overload queries”.

I am in the process if developing a new website and one of the first things I will do is install the statcounter code.

    18. I have my site up, but who will see it? StatCounter surely helped me answer that and in a hurry. With all the details it gives about my visitors I was able to get the information displayed on my site relevant to what my visitors are searching for on a day to day basis.

Even though I can see which browser they used, and which region of the globe they came in from, plus numerous other vital search statistics, the ones I used most were the keyphrases used to find my site.

Knowing what my visitors are looking for helps me hone my content making my site more relevant in search queries for my visitors. This not only helps my visitors, it helps me to get my message out and it helps me stay ahead of my competion in search engine results placement (SERPS) when my industry key word patterns my visitors use to find me start changing. This is easy for me to follow checking my stat counter stats at least once evey day.

When I first began business online 4 years ago, StatCounter was there with the best stat counter available online with the free basic counter. The expanded paid stat counter is even more revealing and can give insights about visitors I have never dreamed of. Combine that with the online forum and technical help 24/7/365 that surpasses all expectations and you have a huge advantage over your online competitors.

      Thanks StatCounter Team.

    19. This site is due to go live on Monday 9/3, but I am currently using StatCounter on www.tapcostore.com. I would not think of going live with the new site without StatCounter on it. It is invalueable. I am constantly monitoring (for the current site) the stats (hourly) to see where people are coming from, how that got here and what are they looking at. These stats will be particularly helpful on the new site as I set up marketing strategies.

    20. We love Stat Counter

www.FlyingCart.com is an easy way to create an online store and have your products posted around the web

      * What stats do you look at most often and why?
What countries are viewing our site. This will allow us to figure out where to run our google ad campaigns. One of our goals is to become the preferred easy to use shopping cart solution outside of the United States.

      * How do the stats help you?

The help us determine where and how we are getting hits.

      * How often do you check your stats?

      At least twice a day.

      Keep up the great work!
      Rishi
