  • How using StatCounter has helped improve your business, specifically:
    • What stats do you look at most often and why?
    • How do the stats help you?
    • How often do you check your stats?

Don’t forget to put your email address and URL in the relevant boxes below. We might need to contact you! 😉

We need to get moving on this as soon as possible, so the sooner we hear from you the better! If you have any questions, please post them below.

    Thanking you!

    1. I am glad to find statcounter. I want to give it a try.

Over the past 4 yrs, I have used three different hits counters and all of them give different numbers so I am totally confused because I am unable to determine the correct website stats.

The web hosting counter gives one number and the other three counters that I am using give different numbers each.

Hopefully, Statcounter would be the one I am going to rely on.

I shall be back to give you a feedback after a week.

      StatCounter Team Response:

      Welcome on board!

You should note that your server stats will always be higher than your web stats.

Server stats count all the traffic to your server. StatCounter (and other web trackers) count all the visits to your site.

Your server gets A LOT MORE traffic than your site, because server traffic includes all the visits from robots, spambots, crawlers etc.

When a robot visits your site, this is recorded in your server logs. It’s not a ‘true’ visit though since the page is not fully loaded, so it doesn’t show up in your web stats (e.g your StatCounter stats)

StatCounter often shows higher stats than other providers, as StatCounter counts both javascript and non javascript visitors. Some other packages only count javascript visitors.

If you do have any questions, please feel free to contact our support team using this form.

      All the best!

    2. Hi, Liz Yasuda here!

I’m based in New York City, U.S.A., and the owner of, a site that I created to market my downloadable vector art, etc. to the world.

Statcounter has helped me tremendously. I can see at a glance the art that interests people the most, and the art that people around the web are searching for. Using Statcounter, I can also tell among other things, if the site has gone down in the middle of the night.

I also use StatCounter with some of my client sites, and it’s great that Statcounter is so easy to understand that I don’t have to explain much to even the least tech-minded among them. I don’t know if it’s too late, but, yes, I would love to be interviewed.
I check my stats at least once a day, but usually more often.

    3. I’ve been using Google Analytics for the last few weeks, and just started using Statcounter today. Its nice being able to see stats in real time, with alot more detail than what was offered by Google. Thank a bunch.

We started with Statcounter at first as a free service. After 1 month, we outgrew the free services, and purchased Statcounter services. Many of our sites offer galleries or slide shows, and we often check the Popular Pages, Entry Pages, and Exit Pages.
However, our favorite is Recent Visitor Activity.

We check our stats weekly on several projects.

      Thanks for a great service

    5. I have been with statcounter for 3-4 of my game related sites for > 3 years. (main site : )

A few important features that keep me from using other similar services is the ease of use and the SPEED of loading the stats and charts offered by Statcounter.

Keep up the good work and may force be with you all at Statcounter.

Back to checking the stats ..
