As many of you requested, here are updated browser usage stats. We’ve broken the stats down into Global, US and UK figures. These stats are based on a total sample for the period of over 450 million page views globally. All daily stats are based on the relevant GMT 24 hour periods.

How come Safari is loosing people since Chrome is NOT available for Mac computers yet ?
Any stats about which browser is most used in Europe?
In my own opinion IE is the most easiest and stable web browser I used it for web development. The more simple the thing the more better, chrome developers just thinks as FireFox’s I like the ZooM in IE I like the search In IE chrome is the fastest no way. but it still beta I think the Alpha version will be more powerful than this beta one.
At the End I’m still using IE
I like the look and feel of Chrome but I have noticed that since I started using it, my Vista Business BSODs about once a week. I’m willing to give it time to mature, but unless they address the privacy concerns more aggressively than they have done, the market will not wait for them to get the bugs out.
I think Google pulled the promotion of Chrome because they don’t yet want more than one percent of the market.
They probably want to iron out most of the bugs on a small beta segment of the market before launching to a broader audience.

March Of The Lemmings: Personally I don’t care to give one more shred of my internet behavior for Google to track with their Chrome browser. I don’t need their ‘Search Suggestions’ to correlate with their best AdWords revenue generators, or my browsing and search history to feed Googles ravenous Data Miners. I don’t need Analytics gathering even more detail on my websites to be used to ‘punish’ my site traffic and position on a whim. <– That is after all, why I dumped Analytics and switched to StatCounter.

Cool that google’s chrome is taking a good chunk of the browser market. statcounter is also doing us good job by providing us with this browser usage stats. we would like to view other stats like, stats in the Asian continent as well. Please do not avoid or put back the details of the Asian market, cause asian market is also huge as well.
Another observation.
In system stats, When I try to see the screen resolution of the surfers, It only shows resolutions of monitors with 4:3 aspect ratio. I suppose that all the LCD widescreen resolutions, show up as “Unknown”. Am I right?
Also, do you plan on adding a feature that covers the LCD widescreen 16:9 resolutions?

I have statcounter installed on my blog and I love it! Thank you so much.
I was wondering, though, does statcounter keep track of the people who look at my blog on Google Reader or only people who come to my actual blog?
I personally love Chrome, its clean and simple and really haven’t found too many bugs yet. I especially like the visual layout when you open up a new tab…wasted space in other browsers but super helpful in Chrome.
Thanks for giving us the stats on Chrome……..I’m going to wait until they get all the bugs worked out before using it.
