  1. I agree with you Far East, I gave it a go but back to Firefox in under 30mins. 🙂 Cant do SEO marketing without some good SEO browser tools.

  2. I too prefer firefox, but IE is always on every computer, it is difficult to avoid not supporting IE.

  3. I prefer firefox due to its stability , speed. I.E is just too slow, surprising to see it still has nearly 60% of the market share. It could be due to the fact that windows has larger user base.

  4. As I thought, majority will choose Chrome maybe due to its light weight in size. But I am still using Firefox because I really rely on Firefox plug in. For sure, I will switch to Chrome if there are plug in available for Chrome. But until now, Chrome still don’t have any plug in and I can’t use Google toolbar in Chrome even it produced by Google 🙁

  5. Seems like Chrome has put up some stiff competition for FireFox, even though it is a fraction of FF’s downloads. Chrome is the only browser that seems to have risen globally. Probably a sign of the slow but steady growth of it’s acceptance among users.

  6. I’ve curious question, is it possible to see stats in the future for Opera Browser too? Just want to know where it’s located within this war.

  7. Good stats, thanks. Personally, I use Opera and i’m a bit surprised it’s not listed here. Used to have lots of problems with IE but still have to use it sometimes because of google toolbar.

  9. Hi,

Thanks for sharing these stats – any chance, on Oct 1, of publishing the Chrome stats for all of Sept?

I’ve been a very, very happy Chrome user and am curious to see what your stats report on its growth over the past month.

    Cheers and many thanks

    Alex.

  10. I downloaded Chrome about 10 days ago. I have tried IE, Safari, Opera and Mozilla. I wanted to try Chrome out. I still have it, it is developing into my favorite browser after the initial set up time – favorite sites, etc. I am going to stick with this browser- it seems faster, brings up your favourites quicker, easier and gives you more screen real estate. Till now I have had no pbs with pop_ups etc . Still a beta, but so is Gmail after approx 3 years.

Google has got it right again.
