It’s our mission to make Statcounter the most useful, engaging and easy to use analytics app for our members. This update is just one of many improvements we have lined up to help make it easy for you to understand your visitors and make the most informed decisions about your website.
Clarity and ease-of-use.
While there are some new features and functional improvements in this update, the most substantial changes areΒ to the look and feel of the Statcounter user interface. Redesigned from the ground up, we’ve placed priority on clarity and ease-of-use by improving the layout, typography, colours, icons, spacing and visual hierarchy.
Β
See the wood for the trees.
New headline stats show you important summary information at a glance.
Compare and contrast.
A refreshed projects page makes it easier for you to compare trends across your projects.
Take a shortcut.
A redesigned date-range picker with shortcut buttons makes filtering reports by date quicker and easier.
Jump and zoom.
New jump and zoom controls on the summary chart make it easier than ever to navigate backwards and forwards in time and zoom in and out for different levels of granularity.
Be flexible.
You can now hide the left navigation menu when you need some extra space for your stats. This can be particularly useful for viewing reports that contain long URLs.
Be Vibrant.
Last but by no means least, weβre excited to show you our new logo. A vibrant new look to the future, with a nod to the past.
Watch this space for further improvements in the coming months and if you have any feedback, please feel free to let us know in the comments below or use the Feedback Tab in Statcounter.
Nice
Dislike intensely. Clearly designed with a limited attention span in mind, as with so many sites/apps these days. May be better than nothing but I am not convinced. Sorry.
I Say Thanks You.
I love statcounter.com
Thank you. I really appreciate the new design.
I would like some help to get back my Statcounter account. I messed around with passwords and it got deleted somehow. Is there someone to guide me with a new install? Hope so!

Green Light District
Love it π
Keep it up!
Yes I love to with statcounter.com.
Thanks for upgrade.
Revised layout looks good but I doubt that it is relevant to my site which is a free information site primarily aimed at students. Visits to the site have dropped off over recent months and I am pondering whether to close it.
Really appreciate the upgrades to the Statcounter design. Much appreciated by me and all my customers. Well done.
Awesome, the new design is really looks nice. Keep it up guys.
Really liking the new desin guys, keep going you are really doing a great job.
Can we have back who visited our sites? Not just the country. Thanks for considering. I am now accepting ads, unblocked ABP π
No comments? π
Very good overall.
A very minor issue: when the “label this visitor” popup is opened, the label textbox should have the keyboard focus.
Yes I like it
Thanks
Looks promising, but I have some concerns… probably a stupid question though π
if I update my Statcounter, will I keep the data I’ve gathered so far or do I have to do something specific not to loose anything?
Thanks

The 2 biggest problems I have with Statcounter are (1) the “most popular” numbers and the Entry page numbers and the summary numbers seem totally inconsistent with each other most of the time. (2), the numbers from Google and the numbers from Statcounter while often similar are sometimes hugely different. I do not understand what you are counting (and not counting) in the different categories.
Hi Eric,
Please get in touch with support so we can investigate your project.
Thanks,
Jonathan
I like the new design .I wish you success!
I used to enjoy seeing who had visited our webblogs but you removed the feature to a premium account π
Hi Enrique,
We definitely haven’t changed any free features to be paid features. Please get in touch and we’ll help you find what you’re looking for.

Hi Jonathan,
Now you are making me doubt…years ago when I started using Statcounter (certainly more than 10 years) I remember more information was available on free accounts which was removed. I believe the information I am referring to is available on premium accounts. Sorry I can’t be more explicit. And thanks for your reply!
thank you very much, good article, i like.
Been using since 2009. Finally, a major revamp!
Thanks..
I like the new design, I also liked the old design – good work !
